Insolvency-safe tickets without any extra costs
We guarantee travel agents that their clients are automatically insured without any extra costs in the event that an air, rail or shuttle service issued on an HR-169 ticket is cancelled due to the insolvency of the respective operating carrier.
This service was introduced in 2010. So far more than 26 million insolvency-safe tickets have been issued around the globe.
In case a passenger with an HR-169 ticket is affected by the insolvency of one of Hahn Air's over 300 air, rail & shuttle partners, we and our insurance partner "REISEGARANT" GmbH (Generali Insurances AG) vouch for a full refund of the unused part of the ticket including taxes.
Additionally, we have extended the protection through an agreement with Allianz Global Assistance International S.A.. Thus, stranded passengers receive not only reimbursement of the unused part of the ticket, but also the difference between the original and the new ticket total worth up to € 125. The insurance also covers the costs of meals and hotel accommodation up to € 75 and other extra expenses like transfers and phone calls up to € 50.
To claim reimbursement the insolvency must have occurred within 24 hours before departure or during a trip where the customer has already used at least one coupon.
We pay a compensation to travel agents for their extra work connected to any claim which was approved by Allianz.
