Hahn Air Strengthens its Position as Industry's Leading Universal ET Platform

2 October 2009

With numerous implementations, e.g. for Lufthansa (LH), Cathay Pacific (CX), CSA Czech Airlines (OK) or Alitalia (AZ), Hahn Air has further strengthened its position as the industry's leading universal ET (E-Ticketing) platform-provider.

Hahn Air now is the first and only IATA member airline to offer e-ticketing for more than 200 partner airlines. These cooperations are not limited to small and middle-sized airlines, but cover an incremental number of global and mega-carriers alike: IETs with JAL Japan Airlines and Jet Airways (India) are about to be set up.

At this stage, Hahn Air offers its comprehensive variety of partner airlines to a total of 80.000 IATA-accredited travel agencies, using any GDS in already 145 BSP countries (ARC in the U.S.).
"Operating the industry's leading universal ET platform, Hahn Air has been consequently working on a global coverage of BSP memberships" says Hahn Air CEO, Hans Nolte. Just recently, Hahn Air announced its latest BSP memberships in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Malavi, Mali, Senegal, Togo and French Polynesia (Tahiti). "Very soon, we are confident to have actually all BSP markets worldwide covered and above that, we will also connect the top 15 non-BSP countries to our distribution platform. This will comprise markets like the Georgian Republic and the Republic of Belarus, where local Hahn Air ticket offices will be installed," Nolte further states and summarises the realisation of this comprehensive goal to be a worldwide Hahn Air standard: "By the end of the 1st decade of this century, we want to make sure that an Hahn Air e-ticket is accessible to virtually every airport counter of any airlines in order to provide secure, seamless and reliable services to our mutual clients - travel agencies and travellers alike."
