Air Kiribati, the flag carrier of the Republic of Kiribati located in Micronesia, has enhanced its distribution by signing an agreement with Hahn Air Systems. Now travel agents worldwide can easily access services of the regional airline, as it is available in all major GDSs under the H1 code. Booking and ticketing can be done via the standard GDS reservation and ticketing process; and tickets for Air Kiribati can be issued on the insolvency-safe HR-169 ticket.
The regional carrier Air Kiribati is based on the island of Kiribati in the Central Pacific. With two destinations in two countries, Air Kiribati focuses on domestic flights but also serves the island of Fiji from its base at Bonriki International Airport (TRW). Its economy service from Kiribati (TRW) to Funafuti (FUN) in Tuvalu is currently available under the H1 code.
