Hahn Air Systems entered 2019 with a new partner, President Travel and Tours. Their partnership brings the first Nepalese H1-Air partner to all major GDSs worldwide where it is now displayed under the H1 two-letter code.
As a result, President Travel and Tours’ services operated by Shree Airlines and Himalayan Airlines can be booked by over 100,000 travel agencies worldwide via the standard GDS reservation process. Tickets can be issued on Hahn Air’s insolvency-safe HR-169 document via the standard GDS ticketing process.
President Travel and Tours, a Nepalese tour operator based in Kathmandu, has provided ticketing services on domestic and international services operated by various partner carriers, including Shree Airlines and Himalayan Airlines, since 1977.
Shree Airlines is a Nepalese regional specialist offering scheduled flights to Bhadrapur (BDP), Biratnagar (BIR), Dhangarhi (DHI), Kathmandu (KTM), Nepalgunj (KEP), Rajbiraj (RJB) and Siddharthanagar (BWA) out of its base at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). In total it serves seven scheduled destinations with a fleet of Bombardier CRJ 200 and CRJ 700 aircraft.
The second Nepalese airline serving flights on behalf of President Travel and Tours, Himalayan Airlines, is also based at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Its flights to Dammam (DMM) in Saudi Arabia, Doha (DOH) in Qatar, Dubai (DXB) in the United Arab Emirates and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) in Malaysia are also available under the H1 code. Himalayan Airlines uses a fleet of A320 aircraft.
