Hahnair has announced a new interline agreement with Brightline Trains, the only privately owned and operated intercity railroad in the United States operating between Orlando and South Florida. As the latest addition to Hahnair’s network of over 350 partners, Brightline services are now available for issuance on the insolvency-safe HR-169 ticket through the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
Brightline Trains (BE), operating as Brightline, was established to address the need for transportation on routes that are too long to drive but too short to fly. Since 2017, Brightline has offered easy, efficient, and eco-friendly service between major city pairs, currently connecting Central and South Florida with stations in Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Orlando. The company provides a hospitality-centric travel experience at a price point comparable to driving or flying.
Last year, Brightline has served over 3 million passengers, connecting them between Central Florida and South Florida. It employs more than 550 staff members and continues to expand its operations.
Brightline has been recognized by TIME as one of the TIME100 Most Influential Companies, by Fast Company as one of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, and by Inc. as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Southeast. In 2025, Brightline was recognized by Travel Weekly's annual Magellan Awards as a Gold winner for Ground Transportation for Overall Service in Rail Travel.
