Hahnair is proud to expand its portfolio of Dual Partners with FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s first privately owned international airline. FitsAir is set to leverage Hahnair's X1-Air and HR-169 products, making it available for ticketing under its own 8D code in Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan GDSs, in addition to being listed under the X1 code in major GDSs. Travel consultants can easily issue flights of the new Dual Partner on the HR-169 ticket following standard reservation and ticketing procedures.
FitsAir, established in 1997 as a cargo airline, became Sri Lanka’s first private carrier authorised for scheduled international passenger services. Since launching passenger flights in October 2022, it was named Asia’s most punctual airline by Cirium in July 2023. Today, FitsAir operates A320-200 aircraft to five destinations across five countries.
