Hahn Air Technologies expanded the list of X1-Air partners available in two major GDSs under the X1 code with a regional carrier from the Caribbean, Divi Divi Air. The Curaçao-based airline named after the local Divi-divi tree can now be booked in Amadeus and Sabre via the standard reservation process and issued on Hahn Air’s insolvency-safe HR-169 ticket via the standard ticketing process.
Hahn Air is celebrating the milestone of 40 million insolvency-safe tickets sold. The figure counts tickets issued since 2010 when Hahn Air introduced the free ticket insurance Securtix®. The insurance guarantees reimbursement if a flight issued on an HR-169 ticket with any of Hahn Air’s more than 350 partner airlines is cancelled due to insolvency of the operating carrier.
