Braathens Regional Airlines

Sweden - founded: 1981

Braathens Regional Airlines, also known as BRA, is a regional airline based at Stockholm Bromma Airport (BMA), Sweden. It serves 16 destinations in Denmark, Finland, France and Sweden.

The company’s history goes back to 1946 when the Norwegian airline Braathens S.A.F.E, South American & Far East Airtransport, was founded by the Norwegian shipowner Ludvig Gustaf Braathen. It was rebranded in 2016 to unite the previously distinct companies of Malmö Aviation, Sverigeflyg and Braathens Regional and offer one single brand to the Swedish domestic market.
