Hahn Air adds Eastern Airlines to its network of interline partners

10 March 2020

The German scheduled airline Hahn Air introduced Eastern Airlines as its new interline partner. By joining Hahn Air’s platform, Eastern Airlines enhanced its indirect distribution capability to now include HR-169 ticketing in the Amadeus GDS. As a result, thousands of travel agencies worldwide can book Eastern Airlines under the airline’s own 2D code and issue tickets on the insolvency-safe HR-169 document.

Eastern Airlines (2D) is an American carrier operating from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. The airline serves two international destinations, namely Georgetown (GEO) in Guyana and Guayaquil (GYE) in Ecuador. Its all-Boeing fleet includes one Boeing 767-200, three Boeing 767-200ERs and four Boeing 767-300ERs aircraft.

More information about Eastern Airlines is available under Partner Carriers.
