After having implemented IET with the Swiss carrier Helvetic Airways end of January, Hahn Air has extended its e-ticketing platform with the addition of three further airlines. A total of 237 airlines can now be issued on insolvency-safe Hahn Air tickets (HR-169).
Helvetic Airways is based at Zürich Airport and operates flights to destinations in Europe and scheduled flights on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines. The low cost carrier Star Perú offers domestic routes in Peru and an international service to the Brazilian Amazon. The new Austrian Hahn Air partner airline, InterSky, with an operational base in Germany, flies to European destinations such as Croatia, France, Italy and Greece. Pakistan International, the national carrier for Pakistan, and one of the most recognised airlines in Asia, operates scheduled services to 24 domestic, and 39 international destinations across Asia, Europe and North America.
Travel agents in over 180 markets (BSP, non BSP and ARC in the USA) can issue Hahn Air's partner airlines on HR-169 e-documents using any GDS (Global Distribution System) worldwide.
