Hahn Air attends 74th IATA Annual General Meeting in Sydney

7 June 2018

Hahn Air’s General Manager & COO Cpt. Daniel Rudas, Vice President of the Airline Business Group Steve Knackstedt and Head of Corporate Strategy, Industry & Government Affairs Jörg Troester represented Hahn Air Lines at the 74th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit (WATS) between June 3rd and 5th, 2018. For the third time in history, the event was held in Sydney, Australia.

Bringing together more than a thousand leaders in the industry to discuss important topics, such as aviation security, airport privatisation and gender equality, the IATA AGM and WATS also addressed the issue of human trafficking. During the event, IATA’s Airline Members voted in favour of a resolution that denounces human trafficking and encourages Airline Member to take necessary steps in order to prevent potential trafficking situations.

Hahn Air’s Chief Delegate, Cpt. Daniel Rudas highlights that Hahn Air is a proud member of the IATA family. He adds: “It is an honour and pleasure for me and my colleagues to be here at the 74th IATA AGM in Sydney. We fully support IATA in its efforts and endorse the constant evolution of its agenda that enables its 290 members to offer the best service possible, connecting people, countries and continents.”

Steve Knackstedt comments: “Our industry is strong and continues to grow on a global level. Already ten percent of IATA Airline Members are operating under new business models. Regardless their business model, Hahn Air is looking forward to supporting its airline partners worldwide in their development of global distribution strategies that fit best with their business.”
