Drukair, Bhutan’s state-owned flag carrier, will begin its first Middle East service on October 20, launching a twice-weekly flight to Dubai International using an A319-100. Currently serving 15 destinations across eight Asian countries, Drukair plans to expand further with new aircraft orders, including A320-200Ns and A321-200NY(XLR)s, to connect additional routes to Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of its inflight magazine Croatia, the airline's rebranding integrates Croatian national identity into the new design. The A220 aircraft will enhance energy efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and improve passenger amenities.
The airline plans a complete fleet renewal by 2027, encompassing 15 new A220 aircraft.
