Hahn Air ranks number one in IET agreements

20 August 2008

Eighteen months after activating Interline E-Ticketing (IET) with its first airline partner in January 2007, Hahn Air now ranks number one in IATA’s Top Carriers List by implemented IETs (source IATA). Carriers of all size and business models from around the world use the Hahn Air Ticketing Platform which makes the IET with Hahn Air an industry must. Over 70,000 IATA travel agencies can use Hahn Air e-tickets to issue Hahn Air’s 153 partner airlines’ flights in 106 BSP/ARC countries and by year’s end some 200 airlines will be available.

Simon Riha, Director Distribution Solutions: ”Our e-ticket team has done an impressive job and linked our Amadeus ET server with the airline’s respective database averaging almost 10 IETs per month. In many cases, we are one of the airlines’ few or even their unique IET partner which makes Hahn Air especially important as a partner allowing ticket issuance in virtually every GDS and BSP/ARC worldwide. That way, our partners are saleable through IATA travel agencies worldwide without having to cover the costs for joining additional BSPs/ARC or for activating e-ticket functionality with the GDSs.“
