New Zealand - founded: 1984
Air Chathams (3C), established in 1984, was originally founded to provide vital transportation links for the remote Chatham Islands community to mainland New Zealand.
Today, it operates as a privately-owned domestic airline serving eight destinations across New Zealand including Auckland, Chatham Islands, Christchurch, Kāpiti Coast, Pitt Island, Wellington, Whakatāne and Whanganui. The airline operates a fleet that includes two ATR 72-500 and five Saab 340 aircraft.
