2017

YTD 27 new airlines signed interline agreements with Hahn Air and 15 new H1-Air partners joined the Hahn Air network consisting of more than 300 air, rail and shuttle partners. In addition, Hahn Air Systems welcomes its second ferry partner, the Estonian company Tallink.

More and more partners decide to make use of a Dual Partnership with Hahn Air. This means they combine their availability under the H1 code with an interline agreement. As a result, they can also offer their flights under their own IATA code. In 2017, already ten partners are taking advantage of this option.

Hahn Air signs its first interline agreement with a train company, the British high speed rail company Eurostar.

Hahn Air expands its global presence with offices in Delhi, India, and Montevideo, Uruguay.

The product speed-alliance® (5W-Rail&Shuttle) is introduced. It allows customers to book tickets on high-speed trains such as NTV in Italy with the two-letter code 5W using the same GDS screen used to book flights.

Hahn Air announces 24/7 Service Desk hours.

The Hahn Air Business School is founded and recognised as an IATA-authorised training centre. The school offers distance learning courses for travel agents on topics related to airline distribution.

Hahn Air places an order for two Cessna Citation Jet 4’s and takes delivery of the first jet in December 2013.

The Hahn Air Foundation, initiated by Hahn Air, is founded to provide financial support for social projects worldwide.

The complimentary insolvency insurance Securtix® is extended. In case of insolvency of a Hahn Air partner, passengers receive not only a refund for the unused part of the HR-169 ticket, but also reimbursement in case they are stranded.

HR Ventures GmbH, the Hahn Air Group’s venture capital company, is founded, supporting exceptional entrepreneurs in achieving their goals together as partners.

Commencing February 1st, Hahn Air Lines operates scheduled flights between Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) and Luxembourg Findel Airport (LUX) twice a week.
