Today, Hahn Air cooperates with more than 350 partner airlines, thereby creating ticketing opportunities for more than 100,000 travel agencies in 190 markets.

Hahn Air adds a new summer route to its network with a weekly flight from Dusseldorf (DUS) to Palma de Mallorca (PMI).

Hahn Air Technologies is founded. The sister company of Hahn Air provides solutions to airlines that are looking to expand their indirect sales. It also serves as a think tank and innovation centre for the Hahn Air Group.

Hahn Air takes delivery of a second Cessna Citation Sovereign, which replaces one of its two Cessna Citation Jet 4’s.

The Hahn Air event location, The Aircraft at Burghof, adopts a new strategy and wins a Location Award as “Best Newcomer Location”.

Hahn Air expands its global presence with an office in Delhi, India.

Hahn Air Systems introduces the product 5W-Rail&Shuttle. It allows travel agents to book train, ferry and shuttle providers directly in the airline display of the GDSs under the reservation code 5W. The product is terminated for strategic reasons in 2019.

Hahn Air announces 24/7 Service Desk hours and opens another international office in Manila, the Philippines.

The Hahn Air Business School is founded and recognised as an IATA-authorised training centre. The school offers online and offline training programmes for travel agents on topics related to airline distribution.

The Hahn Air Foundation is founded by the owners of Hahn Air to provide financial support for social projects worldwide.

The complimentary insolvency insurance Securtix® is extended with financial support for stranded passengers.

Hahn Air Systems introduces the product H1-Air. It allows partner airlines to outsource the entire sales process (GDS/BSP/travel agency) and to sell flights on the HR-169 ticket using the designator H1.

The Aircraft at Burghof, Hahn Air’s training and conference centre, is opened in Dreieichenhain, Germany, just five minutes from the Hahn Air head office.

Hahn Air opens its first international offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, and in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Hahn Air signs a contract with the insurance company Generali Versicherung AG and becomes the first airline to provide complimentary and automatic insolvency insurance with every HR-169 ticket. It provides reimbursement in case one of Hahn Air’s partners should file for insolvency.

Starting February 1st, Hahn Air operates scheduled flights between Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) and Luxembourg Findel Airport (LUX) twice a week.

Hahn Air extends its services to travel agents in markets that do not have a BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) or where tickets sales cannot be settled via BSP. Tickets are provided through so-called Hahn Air Ticket Offices. The first Ticket Office is opened in Taiwan.
