Considered the highest accolade in the South African travel industry, the ASATA Awards recognise those individuals who consistently exceed expectations, have strong travel knowledge, offer superb client support, and set exceptionally high standards to the benefit of the entire South African travel industry. This year, Hahn Air’s Director Global Account Management for South Africa, Candy Kasonkomona, has been appointed to sit on the independent panel of judges for these prestigious awards.
The judges, who are selected for their neutral stance, are grouped to assess various categories of nominations. ASATA has identified eight award categories, six of which are aimed at the leisure and corporate travel consultant, with two categories for wholesale consultants working on specialised individual or group bookings. Two special categories were launched in 2013, namely, Exceptional Commitment and Tomorrow’s Leader.
The results of the ASATA Awards will be announced on 8th March 2018.
