Air Tanzania, the national airline of Tanzania and a former HR-169 partner, has signed an agreement with Hahn Air Systems to distribute its services in all major GDSs under the H1 code. Using their familiar GDS reservation and ticketing process, travel agents in 190 markets can now book Air Tanzania and issue tickets on the insolvency-safe HR-169 document.
The government-owned carrier Air Tanzania was founded in 1977. Its network of destinations is served from the Dar-es-Salaam airport (DAR). Air Tanzania economy and business class services on board Dash 8 aircraft are available for ticketing under the H1 code.
