Brussels Airlines now serves Munich

The flag carrier of Belgium, Brussels Airlines (SN), now offers daily flights between Bavaria’s capital of Munich (MUC) and its base in Brussels (BRU). The daily service is operated with an A319 aircraft.


Cambodia Airways introduces weekly flights to Chengdu

The Cambodian carrier Cambodia Airways (KR) launched flights from its base in Phnom Penh (PNH) to the capital of China’s Sichuan province, Chengdu (CTU), and vice versa. The flight, available for booking under the H1 code, is operated with A320neo aircraft once a week.


Caribbean Airlines returns to Curaçao

The national airline of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Airlines (BW), resumed its direct service between Trinidad’s Piarco International Airport (POS) in Port of Spain and Curaçao’s International Airport (CUR). The BW400 – BW401 flight will operate twice-weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays with a Boeing 737.


New routes and increased frequencies for Eastern Airways

This spring and summer, Eastern Airways expands its route network with two new flights: Wick (WIC) – Aberdeen (ABZ) - Wick (WIC), available now, and Cardiff (CWL) – Belfast (BHD) - Cardiff (CWL), available from June 6th. On May 23rd, the airline will also increase frequencies on flights from Southampton (SOU) to Belfast (BHD), available twice daily, and to Manchester (MAN). Eastern Airways is available in GDSs under its own T3 code as well as under Hahn Air’s X1 code.


Fastjet announced flights between Victoria Falls and Maun

On June 30th, Fastjet (FN) will begin operations between Maun (MUB) and Victoria Falls (VFA). The African carrier based in South Africa will serve Botswana’s fifth largest town from Zimbabwe’s tourism capital four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and the service is available in GDSs under Hahn Air’s H1 code.


Hong Kong Airlines launches flights to Shanghai, Chengdu and Osaka

Hong Kong Airlines (HX) added these three services from its base at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) to its route network in April:

• Hong Kong (HKG) – Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA) v.v.; available twice a week

• Hong Kong (HKG) – Chengdu (CTU) v.v.; available thrice a week/once a week

• Hong Kong (HKG) – Osaka (KIX) available thrice a week


Sky Airline expands to Bogota

The South American carrier, SKY Airline(H2), is finalizing preparations for its new service connecting Lima (LIM) and Bogotá (BOG). Operations will begin on April 30th and the flight between the Peruvian and the Colombian cities will be available three times a week on an A320neo.


Turkish Airlines introduces new connection between Antalya and Edinburgh

The flag carrier of Turkey, Turkish Airlines, now offers five weekly flights between one of the most popular holiday destinations in Turkey, Antalya (AYT), and Edinburgh (EDI). They are available 2x weekly.


WestJet to launch non-stop flights to Chicago

On May 19th, the Canadian airline WestJet (WS) will launch daily flights between Toronto (YYZ) and the Windy City, Chicago (ORD). Its summer schedule will also feature more convenient services from Toronto to Europe, marking the airline’s network restoration to near pre-pandemic level.
