Hahn Air kicks off 2011 service initiative with the pioneering "Your Rooster"

3 January 2011

Following the maxim “Your Ticketing Choice - Our Commitment 2011” Hahn Air is expanding its commitment to travel agents and will release several new services in 2011. The first milestone will be the launch of the unique "Your Rooster" service.  Disappointed with the industry’s lack of technical solutions to automatically prevent travel agents creating Agency Debit Memos (ADM), Hahn Air decided to develop its own technical tools to protect travel agencies. To give immediate support to its partners, Hahn Air’s “Your Rooster” enables them to waive an ADM once a year which is related to HR-169 e-ticketing.

Hans Nolte, Hahn Air’s President and CEO, emphasizes: “Travel agents are our consistently reliable partners who shouldn’t get punished for generating revenue. That is why it is our commitment to make this year all about our travel agents and to give them extraordinary support with services such as Your Rooster.”

“Your Rooster” is available to IATA agencies registered on www.hahnair.com and shows up on the “My Hahn Air” part of the website. Each IATA agency is entitled to draw “Your Rooster” once in 365 days, waiving one ADM based on previous revenue. Full terms and conditions are available on www.hahnair.com

The title “Your Rooster” is associated with Hahn Air’s own company name, as “Hahn” means “Rooster” in German. Thus, “Rooster” is the official call sign of Hahn Air. Moreover, the airline was named after the area where it was founded in 1994: the former military airbase Hahn that is now known as Frankfurt Hahn Airport. Besides operating as an IOSA-certified German IATA carrier, Hahn Air today also operates the industry’s leading universal E-Ticketing platform.

For Hahn Air’s ongoing initiative “Your Ticketing Choice - Our Commitment 2011” several more services will follow in 2011.
