WESTbahn is now available for sales in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) worldwide; more than 88,000 travel agents can issue its main routes connecting Vienna, Linz and Salzburg on HR-169 in Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan. Furthermore, passengers now have the possibility to book WESTbahn through various online travel agencies. Dr. Erich Forster, WESTbahns CEO, said: This unique collaboration is helping us gain truly global exposure.
Hahn Airs step towards intermodal transportation will be taken even further according to the companys Executive Vice President Simon Riha. He has revealed that many more high-speed train connections to GDS airline displays are to be introduced, providing travel agents with seamless booking process and passengers with smooth travel experience.
Hahn Air, which operates the industrys leading universtal e-ticketing platform, has already implemented agreements with more than 250 airlines worldwide.
